• Up to 6x faster front end: A completely rewritten loader dramatically speeds up test delivery and ensures a smoother experience for students.
• More reliable session handling: The old front end session system has been replaced by a modern, less error-prone solution for greater stability.
• Smart media preloading: Background preloading ensures all media files are ready before a test begins—teachers can choose to start only when everything is loaded.
• Enhanced activity tracking: New functionality in the activity tracker provides deeper insights into student progress and engagement.
• Scripting improvements: Expanded scripting options and a brand-new manual help educators create more flexible and dynamic assessments.
• Student logins with dashboard (Preview): Students get personalized access to their available tests through a clear, user-friendly dashboard. Full AD and SAML support will follow in later versions.
• Concept Maps integration: Concept Maps are now fully integrated into OASYS workflows, expanding the range of supported assessment formats.
• Smarter Media Manager: Safer deletion, better file handling, and support for new media formats give educators more confidence and flexibility in managing resources.
• Advanced system checks: Faster, more reliable integrity checks for both the database and file system keep your installation healthy and secure.
• Configurable score screens: Educators can now customize score information screens to better match their needs.
• Detailed time-spent reports: New reports show exactly how much time students spend on each page, offering valuable insights for analysis.
• Side-by-side translation preview: Content authors can now see multiple languages next to each other in the Content Manager, simplifying translation and review work.
• Archived pages in Content Manager: Pages can be flagged as archived, helping keep test content organized and clutter-free.
• Smarter text alignment: Improved alignment in inline text fields ensures clean layouts—even when inputs don’t cover entire words.
• Security updates: As always, we’ve included important security fixes to keep your platform safe and reliable.
